Synapsis Journal. Interdisciplinary Perspectives in Psychology, Psychotherapy and Human Sciences is the official Journal of the Institute for Research in Psychology and Psychotherapy with a Multidisciplinary Approach, an Italian scientific society which promotes knowledge in the field of research in the human sciences. The Journal is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality original research that represents a valid contribution in the field of psychology, psychotherapy and human sciences, through a multidisciplinary approach with the aim to enrich the dialogue between different sciences, guarantee an integration of perspectives. Synapsis Journal uses a peer review process and involves external experts in the review process. Reviewers are anonymous and follow the code of conduct based on the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors of COPE – Committee On Publication Ethics.

AIM & Scope

The Journal has an annual periodicity, integrating within it special issues themes associated with the events promoted by the Institute for Research in Psychology and Psychotherapy with a Multidisciplinary Approach to which it belongs. The Journal publishes exclusively in the English language and accepts several types of contributions: systematic reviews, methodological reviews, theoretical reviews, perspectives, original articles, case studies, case series. The Journal accepts theoretical, empirical and critical contributions on the following topics: psychotherapy, sociology, legal and forensic psychology, psychology of addictions, social psychology, developmental psychology, psychophysiology and social neuroscience, psychosomatics, multidisciplinary and integrated approaches, linguistic study integrated with the social and cultural component, sports psychology.
